ABOUT DIBUYIT
Useful guides. Clear choices.
DIBuyIt brings together recipes, DIY projects, and reading lists with the details you need to make something or choose what to buy.
How the guides are made
Our instructions draw on the sources linked in each guide. We bring ingredients, quantities, tools, steps, and ready-made alternatives together in one place.
The recipe and project collection has not been kitchen- or workshop-tested by DIBuyIt. Flavor variations are starting points, not tested replicas. Read the guide’s notes and original sources before starting, especially for fermentation, hot sugar, and candle making.
How the book lists are researched
We use award organizers and publishers as primary sources where available. Each list links to its sources and identifies its coverage. Winners, Honor books, finalists, and editorial selections stay distinct.
We check the work and edition before adding a direct purchase link, including the author, language, format, and volume coverage where relevant. When a suitable edition remains unresolved, the link says “Search Amazon.”
How products are chosen
Guide products are checked against the ingredient, tool, or finished item described. Book choices favor a matching hardcover when suitable options are available. A product match does not mean we have personally used or tested the product.
For kosher alternatives, we look for independent certification evidence. If we cannot verify an option, we say so. Product formulas, editions, prices, and availability can change; check the current listing and package before buying.
How DIBuyIt earns money
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. DIBuyIt may receive a commission when you buy through an Amazon link. Shop as usual—checkout stays with Amazon.
DIBuyIt is an independent guide. Brand names, awards, and reading-list names identify the subjects we cover; they do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
