STEP BY STEP

Make it

  1. Clear space

Make a level space in the freezer. Unwrap four sandwiches and arrange side by side on the platter.

  2. Add filling

Spread one-third of the topping over them. Scatter one-third of each candy. Freeze until firm enough to support another layer.

  3. Repeat

Build two more identical layers, freezing between them if soft.

  4. Set and serve

Freeze the finished cake at least 1 hour until firm. Drizzle fudge sauce on top, cut portions and serve promptly.

Good to know

  • This spread-topping version skips the source’s piping bag.
  • Return remaining cake to the freezer; do not leave it on a buffet to melt.
